We like to get involved in numerous community events which we advertise through our social media pages in the run up to an event. So make sure you go and follow our social media pages.
We are currently planning our next Community Shred Event – once confirmed we will update our website with the information and send out information via our social media accounts.
What is a Free Community Shred Event?
Topwood attend fairs, village shows, community Police events, and business fairs to provide a free community shredding service. We set up our industrial mobile shred truck for the general public to shred a few bags of confidential paper for free. There is no charge but any donations will support the nominated charities.
Members of public are encouraged to bring sensitive documents such as medical records, tax forms, banks statements and even utility bills. Upon receipt at our shred truck they are tipped into the industrial shredder where they are cross cut while you watch. At the end of the day, the truck takes the shredded fragments away recycling.

Free Document Shredding Wrexham – Tesco Extra, Crescent Rd
Our next free document shredding event will be at Tesco Extra, Crescent Rd, Wrexham on 17th November 2018. You will be welcome to bring your old bank statements, utility bills and other personal information and we will shred them for FREE on one of our high security shred trucks. All the shredded paperwork will be taken for recycling. All donations will go to charity.
At our community shred events we encourage you to come on-board our shred trucks to watch your documents being shredded in our mobile industrial shredders. The shredded paper then gets pushed to the back of shred truck and mixed with thousands of other pieces of paper making it impossible for reconstruction. At the end of the day, the paper is taken for to the paper mill to be recycled and made into other useful paper products.
