Another great piece of news adding a boost to the North Wales economy. The arrival of new businesses on Deeside, complementing existing companies such as Toyota, Deeside Cereals and Iceland Foods is a real positive message to the rest of the UK demonstrating what a powerhouse North Wales is to industry growth.
This development will also no doubt provide environmental benefits through use of recycled paper in the production process and reducing the carbon footprint of the overall manufacturing cycle.
Manufacturing recycled paper produces less CO2 and Greenhouse gases than virgin fibre paper. Manufacturing one tonne of 100% recycled paper emits 38% less CO2 than paper produced from virgin fibres. The emissions saved is the equivalent to driving from Paris to Moscow in the average European car.
